Hi, I have a 2014 1.0 eco and mine is the same with only 1 or 2 bars normally showing and wondered if there was an issue. I hooked up an odb reader and monitored the temps and coolant stayed around 61°c running for 1.5 hours with town and motorway speeds (mostly motorway). I have a 13 plate EcoBoost 1.0 Fiesta. Never had any problems. Yesterday I was driving in a dual carriageway at 70 mph when the car jumped and there was an instant loss of power. Shortly after the engine started making a very loud humming noise which went shortly after. Besides, the Focus Estate makes up for its space deficit with some very impressive handling – it’s one of the most enjoyable cars in its class. The steering is very nicely weighted and gives good feedback, plus there is plenty of grip. Through corners the Focus Estate feels almost as balanced and as nimble as the hatchback.
