Hello members, i have ford fiesta st-line mk8. but can someone tell me how we can turn off the radio completely, light, sound, etc., (like when you close the car it turns off, the FORD symbol appears.) to avoid running out of battery. Because if you press the on / off button, you just turn off the sound and not the radio entirely.
It's the first cold day of the year (28F/-2C) and my Fiesta (2012, S, Sedan, 28000 miles) doesn't start. I'm sure it has enough fuel and we got the oil changed just 4 weeks ago. All the lights are still turning on when you turn the key and the engine makes a strange clicking noise. We had trouble last winter with our battery and got it replaced.
It is quite possible to have a noisy bearing with absolutely no sign of it with the car jacked up. No play and no noise. I had this for about 2000 miles. It stated as a faint drone at about 50mph, and over that distance it slowly got louder, and became apparent from about 25mph to over 70mph. But still no play or roughness.
Turn it to sidelights, if your headlights go off then it's the daytime running lights (DRL's) you can see. By the fact you had no idea what a DRL is, chances are everything is fine and your headlights are turning off as normal. DRL's have been mandatory on new model cars for nearly 10 years now. Quote.
Turn ‘Off’ the Bluetooth before shutting down the Phone, and wait 30 seconds before turning it back ‘On’. Then restart the Fiesta’s infotainment system and turn the Bluetooth ‘Off’, then Turn it back ‘On’. Afterwards, complete the Key cycle of your Ford by turning ‘Off’ the ignition.
Then when i press the TCS OFF button to turn the Traction control off the red icon does not appear, and pressing and holding the TCS OFF button for 15-16 seconds does nothing either. The only way to then turn the Traction control off is to stop and start the engine.

Sounds like you might have a pretty serious electrical issue. If your car is still under warranty -- I'd take it to the dealer. If not - one thing to try: turn off the car, disconnect the battery. Leave it disconnected for a couple of minutes. Then reconnect the battery. 1.
